Is a fantastic new artist I've been working with lately. We were brave enough to jump into a genre we knew nothing about and keep it going.
It was a rush.
VIBECHECK
As in all things, the ebb and flow of life is cyclically connected. But mental health can be scary as FUCK. If you don't believe me, you could ask any of the people I interact with on a regular basis.
Every person in my life, at one point or another that's been drastically changed by my mental health. It's a heavy burden when it becomes bizarre and un avoidable no matter how you switch up your medications.
So, for me, this song is kind of a life check/ VIBECHECK deal. Like, where one sits down after waking up from a coma, semi aware of the time that's passed, and says, "what was I doing before I went down?"
Bipolar for me is more than 2 opposite moods. It's the ebb and flow of going up and down mixed with the worry that you may be lacking insight about your own behavior.
